Simple rules that keep H2Known honest for everyone: the people you send, our partner companies, and you.
Water Guides must be 18 or older. You'll confirm your age when you apply, and payouts go only to an adult's own account.
H2Known shows exactly what backs up every product: certification by NSF, WQA, or IAPMO, third-party lab testing, or only the company's claims. Certified products come first, and uncertified ones are clearly labeled. Recommendations come only from a person's own water results, ZIP code or lab test, their budget, and what they tell us they want. Nobody can pay to change what a report recommends, including partners and affiliates.
Share H2Known as a free tool, not a sales pitch. Never pressure anyone toward a product, a company, or a purchase. People choose what to buy, from whom, and whether to buy anything at all.
Tell people you may earn a commission, every time you share your link: in posts, emails, texts, and conversations. A simple line works: "I may earn a commission if you buy through my link." On social media, also use #ad or the platform's paid-partnership label.
Don't say or suggest that any water, filter, or ionizer prevents, treats, or cures a disease or symptom. Don't make promises about how much anyone can earn. Point people to their report and the product's certifications instead.
No spam, bulk texting, or messages to people who haven't asked to hear from you. Don't pose as H2Known staff or as a representative of any partner company. Don't buy ads on partner brand names or create websites or pages that use their trademarks.
Each partner company has its own affiliate terms, and you agree to follow them for that company. If you're an Enagic distributor or Multipure Builder, follow that company's policies and use your own ID for their products. Those sales are paid by that company under its plan, not by H2Known.
When someone you send buys from a partner company through H2Known, the company pays H2Known, and H2Known pays your share based on that company's terms, which we email you when you add the company to your profile. Commissions are paid only after the partner company pays us and after its return period, by direct deposit on the schedule in your affiliate agreement. We never charge a fee to apply.
Before you're paid, you'll submit a W-9 and your direct deposit details through our secure payment partner. Never send your Social Security number or bank details by email or text. If your payments reach the IRS reporting threshold in a year, you'll receive a Form 1099.
The people you send keep their water reports private. We don't share their results with you unless they choose to.
We may pause or remove affiliates who break these guidelines or a partner's terms, and commissions earned through rule-breaking may be withheld. These guidelines may change as H2Known grows; we'll email you when they do.
